A Family on a Mission
School by You is an independent family-run business.
Our story started in 2017 when Brent decided to run for school board in Vancouver, Canada. The campaign centered on parental rights and keeping education focused on the main areas: reading, writing, math, science, and physical fitness. Keep politics out of the classroom.
Our son at the time was in a “Christian” private school. To make a long story short, even the private school sold out to the government’s radical ideology. We promptly removed our son. This is our journey.
In 2021 we moved to Oklahoma City and started a new USA expansion for our equipment company. In Oklahoma, the same issues were here as in Canada. Public schools are broken in our opinion. Results are brutal and the money spent is insane.
Brent & Jill are active in Oklahoma City in all areas of education and also their home church. Jill is a writer and published her first children’s book — Lily the Sheep. Brent and his son are making a documentary film: www.donttalkaboutthat.com.
